Dear DPHS Students and Families –
I am honored that the Dos Palos Oro-Loma Joint Unified School District Board of Education has appointed me as the new principal of Dos Palos High School. I welcome the opportunity to serve the Dos Palos High learning and teaching community and look forward to working with a dynamic staff, dedicated parents and involved community members. Most of all, I look forward to working with our students and continuing the outstanding work taking place at Dos Palos High School.
I come to the principal’s position with several years of experience as a site administrator, teacher, and coach in the Dos Palos Oro-Loma JUSD. Prior to being appointed as principal, I worked as a classroom teacher at DPHS for 15 year as well as a coach for 18 years. I also served as the vice principal for 1 year and most recently the learning director for the past two years. This follows my own attendance and graduation from the local schools. In short, I have been a part of the Dos Palos school system for a majority of my life. I take great pride in the success of Dos Palos.
I know personally of the rich history that follows Dos Palos High School. Be it academically, athletically, or personally, I know just how important DPHS is for not only the success of our school system, but also the culture of our community. I fully understand that I have some big shoes to fill. Rest assured that my goal will be to continue building on what everyone has worked so hard to achieve, and to use that strong foundation to move Dos Palos High School to the next level. Together we will continue to provide outstanding educational opportunities and academic excellence for all of our students.
As part of my regular routine once school begins, you will find me out and about on campus during morning arrivals, afternoon dismissals, and throughout the day. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and continue my relationship with the students, staff, and families of the Dos Palos High community. Please know that my door is always open and communication is always welcome.
Mr. Jason Von Allman
