Principal's Message:

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and the Community of Dos Palos:

My name is Marla Sansom and I am so proud to be joining the incredible staff as principal of Dos Palos High School for the upcoming year.  This will be my 29th year in education and 15th year in administration.  I have spent the past two years as principal of Bryant Middle School here in Dos Palos and I look forward to moving forward with this new and exciting endeavor.

Teachers, staff, and administration are committed to ensuring our students receive the best education possible.  The Dos Palos High School staff is dedicated to continuing the high standards and excellence our students deserve. We vow to connect with our students and community along with providing rigorous educational lessons that are relevant and will enhance our students’ journey.

Our goals center on student achievement and include the focus needed to close the achievement gap.  We will also focus on providing students with the most complete exposure to, and preparation for, the world beyond the classroom. We strive for a positive climate that is the product of working proactively together with our district and community to provide resources to students that focus on a wide range of programs that include academics, athletics, visual and performing arts, and Career Technical Education programs.

Our staff recognizes the importance of a positive parent, student, and teacher partnership.  I encourage all parents to be active participants in your child’s educational journey by visiting our website and social media platforms.  It is important to keep your contact information updated in Aeries.  Important messages and regular communication will be sent out through Parent Square so having current information is important.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to discuss. I can be reached at [email protected] / (209) 392-0300 ext. 0302.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Marla Sansom, M.Ed.
